Abida Parveen (born 20 February 1954) is a renowned Pakistani singer, composer, and musician, celebrated as the Queen of Sufi Music. Trained by her father, Ustad Ghulam Haider, she excels in ghazals, qawwalis, kafi, and classical music, singing in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Arabic, and Persian. Since the 1970s, her powerful performances have captivated audiences worldwide, earning her global recognition in the 1990s. She has performed on platforms like Coke Studio, judged music shows, and toured internationally. Named a Global Mystic Sufi Ambassador, she is among the 500 Most Influential Muslims and continues to inspire with her mystical artistry.
